This is a completely free service, it allows you to create maps for different web sites and track the amount of traffic you get plus where visitors come from. Traffic counters that simply show you how many people have visited your site are ok but knowing how far your site reaches around the globe is so much more informing. Once you have a Hit2Map counter you'll be surprised how many countries your site is being viewed in.
We offer 8 different map backgrounds, each with either a large or small version. Choose any one of the styles or use a custom background of your choice. You can upload anything as a background to the basic world map but pictures that are 400 x 209 pixels look the best. Other map counters don't give you this kind of choice and force you to use their maps. We understand the desire to have a custom feel that fits your own style.

The map code will work with just about any kind of web site. Many social networking sites no longer permit this service however if you have a blog or other site the script produced here will work. Just copy and paste, it's that easy. The code this site generates will work in 99% of all web sites (html, php, Python, asp, and most other scripting languages) in its current state, some sites may require slight tweaking to make the script functional. Sorry, we cannot offer support in making the needed changes. Please ask your web site administrator for help if you are having difficulties.
